Launch of Women Who Crypto

Some weeks ago, we celebrated International Women’s Day. In different parts of the world, a diverse group of activities sought to highlight the importance of female participation, decrease the gender gap and promote gender equality. In parallel, a group of women from the crypto industry were meeting to create Women Who Crypto.
While there have been great improvements in female participation in recent years, there is still work to be done. Especially in crypto, where, according to The World Economic Forum, in developed economies such as the U.S., less than one-third of investors are women, whereas in developing economies, such as India, only 15% of exchange customers are women.
That is why, a few months ago, the idea of creating Women Who Crypto was born. A community to encourage sector participation and career development in the crypto industry, working towards a more gender equitable industry, through crypto literacy, social events and leadership.
Are you interested in joining this initiative, to make a change in the industry? Join Women Who Crypto and learn from other women, participate in events and help us to encourage and educate women across the globe in crypto.
